PRINCIPLES

BEHIND OUR

DESIGNS

Every project has unique requirements. Each set of requirements demands individual solutions. Through the years, our engineers have implemented custom solutions across all areas of marine-technology. For our customers, “best practice” means benefiting from this experience. To illustrate this, here we present three technology areas where our specialists have set standards in the past.

MARITIME TECHNOLOGY

LNG at sea

by TECHNOLOG
Dual fuel in shipping – a topic that TECHNOLOG is driving forward. The advantages are obvious: cleaner and more efficient propulsion for ships. Whether newly built or conversions: along with our experience, we also have the technical knowhow. This manifests itself in our innovative patents within this technological domain. We are glad to inform you about what’s possible!

CONVERSION

Conversion means the modification of ships that are in active service to adapt them to new working conditions. Take Panamax, for example: through several conversions, we have made Panamax carriers into new Panamax ships. Efficiency can be massively increased through widening and lengthening. In many cases, not only was the capacity increased but the power source was adapted to new requirements. An increase in volume while improving efficiency – conversion is the key.

 CONTAINER & CARGO CONTAINER & CARGO
Whether the installation of electronic components, streamlining of a bow, or the conversion of the power source to liquefied gas – in many cases, large or even small changes can lead to relatively high efficiency improvements. Lower consumption, increased loading volume, more flexibility, improved safety, or better conditions for the people on board – adaptations and retrofitting pays or itself, and often quicker than you’d think. Make the most of our experience!
